But, I don’t wanna eat the core, seeds and stem/blossom ends!
B. B.
I fully agree. Most of the apple is inedible and the seeds contain a small amount of strychnine. It’s hard to digest the core of the apple and the seeds. Not mention eating the seeds will make anyone sick.

I’ve eaten cores all my life, it doesn’t bother me any more then eating the skin of an apple. I eat the whole lot, and enjoy every morsel.
B. B.
That’s you. You are you and I am me.

You’re an idiot. You made a generalised statement of fact that most of the apple is inedible and eating the seeds would make anyone sick. I disputed that by saying I have eaten exactly those items without experiencing the effects you describe. Since I am part of the group ‘anyone’, your statement is demonstrably false.
Knowing this, your rebuke that we’re not the same person, aside from being am obvious and pointless statement, is irrelevant to the conversation at hand.
If you had said, “I find most of the apple inedible, the core difficult to digest, and the seeds tend to make me sick.” I would have no problem with your opinion. You did not express an opinion, though, did you? You made a statement that explicitly stated that your thoughts applied to everyone. An opinion is not the same as fact. Learn the difference.
B. B.
You took all of that time to type that out and call me an idiot, based on this quotation. “Not to mention eating the seeds will make anyone sick.”
You based everything you typed on these six words “the seeds will make anyone sick”.
Actually, this one word “anyone”.
You took a statement that was not overly generalized and made it personal.
Then you made it more personal by calling me a name, which was totally uncalled for.
It was not written to you directly, so it wasn’t personal.
You made any sound argument you had, invalid, based on your angry response.
Anyone could get sick from eating the cores and seeds of apples.
Saying “anyone” verses “everyone” is not a basis to name call or to get angry.
I didn’t say “everyone”.
“Everyone” includes the majority as a whole.
I said “anyone”.
“Anyone” means, any number of persons within the majority.
If I had said “everyone” then I could see that as an overly generalized statement.
Because not everyone gets sick from eating the seeds of apples.
But anyone can get sick.
Which is a fact.
Anyone can get sick from eating just about anything.
Is your skin so thin that every generalization made, makes you angry enough to call people names?
That is a very juvenile and overly sensitive reaction.
It was not directed at you.
I don’t even know you.
You need to realize that the world does not center around you.
That is a form of delusion.
I never called you any names.
I never pointed fingers at you or judged you for your choice or your choice of words.
Did I?
I simply expressed the fact that we are not the same.
“That’s you. You are you and I am me.”
Which is fact.
That is not a reason for anyone to get angry and to name call.

I wasn’t angry. I made an assertion based on your attitude and response. Although honest, it was designed to try to elicit a more cogent argument, which it seems to have done.
With regards to what you actually said: Those six words, or one word, were/was not my only issue with your original post, it is what you have decided to focus on as the crux of the issue, so I’ll return to it.
If someone said, “eating x would kill anyone!” they are implicitly using anyone in the sense of anyone who are x. If they said, “eating x would kill everyone!” that would be a completely different sentence. I hate to break it to you, but words matter.
The inference of your initial argument was clear, that anyone who eats the seeds of an apple will get sick.
I only responded to this idiocy in the first place by saying, “nope, false assertion.” To which your answer was a non-answer, which made you look like an idiot. This led us down this insane path.
Your decision to say that I’m being egocentric seems at once strange, coming from a man who generalised so obviously based on his own experience.
I well repeat, for the record, who is who was not a relevant response.
I’m pleased you put together a semi-coherent response on this occasion, but I’m not going to respond again over a video about how to eat an apple.
B. B.
You lost your argument the moment you called me an idiot. Nothing you said is worth the time you to took to type it based on your juvenile need to call me a name. Get it? I would have agreed with with you otherwise. But you had to be a prick. Good day to you.

Eating the cores and seeds may not have adversely affected your health, but it sure seems to have made you a miserable prick.
